How to prevent dyed leather recliner seat from staining my clothes?
This question been asked before by me but may not have good keywords on it. Hope somebody can give more options. I have a leather recliner / reclining seat, reddish brown colored sometimes stained my clothes with red-brown color (maybe because of sweat?), and when it rubs against the wall it left a reddish brown stain on the wall. How do I treat this leather to prevent the fading color and rubs off. Is there any protection spray or rejuvenator formula for these kind of leather? thanks in advance. Will give points to the previous answer and points to any best answer.
Sounds like you have an aniline type leather that is not very colorfast… meaning the color comes off easy… Try some of the links on this page http://mobileleatherservice.com/index.html
Also… http://stainsafe.com get the leather protetion cream. should create a barrier between you and the color
