Four Hole

How to avoid mental meltdowns on the course?
Yesterday was my first day playing this season. I was plus one after three holes until I pulled the ball on the dreaded par three. I birdied the next hole but double bogied three of the next four holes.
I did not get down on myself but self doubt crept in. It seems that I have a hard time breaking scoring goals.
Any advice?
I have the same problem but I played my arch-rival on Friday and I tied him even though he was trying to distract me. If you have a bad hole or string of bad holes, don’t get down on yourself, let self-doubt creep in, and don’t get distracted by inside and outside distractions. If you watch Tiger Woods play golf during a bad first nine, he “turns on a switch” and plays a great back nine to have a decent round rather than a bad one. Take the first round of the 1997 Masters for example. He shot a 40 front side but on the back side he amped up his focus and shot a 30 to shoot a -2. You should try to put the bad holes behind you and focus on the shot you are hitting and accept what happens. This should help you because it certainly helped me.
